No Animal Testing
CCF is designed to encourage manufacturers and service providers to adopt a cruelty-free ethic and to make people aware of their power, as consumers, to change attitudes about testing products on animals.
CCF has strict non-animal testing criteria for both the accredited company and all suppliers, and also will not accredit a manufacturer if any of its products contain any ingredients:
- Derived from an animal killed specifically for the extraction of that ingredient
- Forcibly extracted from a live animal in a manner that occasioned pain or discomfort
- Derived from any wildlife
- That are by-products of the fur industry
- That are slaughterhouse by-products of a commercially significant value

The Vegan Society provides advice on ways of living free of animal products for the benefit of people, animals and the planet.
The Vegan logo is a registered trademark and is a symbol of the societies Vegan 'Animal-free' Standards which include regulations on animal ingredients, animal testing, genetic modification and hygiene standards. The logo appears on animal free products that have been registered with The Vegan Society.

The Caring Consumer worldwide program registers only those companies with a no animal testing policy on their own products, and on the raw materials used to produce those products. They also offer additional registration as a vegan business. Hippy Heaven Natural Beauty has proudly been registered as both cruelty free, and vegan.
To ensure consumers of the safety of the products the business sells, non-harmful product testing results must be proven.
