Proudly Accredited by Choose Cruelty Free

No Animal Testing

CCF is designed to encourage manufacturers and service providers to adopt a cruelty-free ethic and to make people aware of their power, as consumers, to change attitudes about testing products on animals.
CCF has strict non-animal testing criteria for both the accredited company and all suppliers, and also will not accredit a manufacturer if any of its products contain any ingredients:

  • Derived from an animal killed specifically for the extraction of that ingredient
  • Forcibly extracted from a live animal in a manner that occasioned pain or discomfort
  • Derived from any wildlife
  • That are by-products of the fur industry
  • That are slaughterhouse by-products of a commercially significant value

Proudly a signatory to the Compact for Safe Cosmetics

No Toxic Chemicals

The Compact for Safe Cosmetics was created to improve the safety of cosmetics and personal care products and to provide better information about product ingredients so consumers can make informed decisions about the products they buy.

When companies sign the Compact for Safe Cosmetics, they are pledging not only to make safer products, but also to provide greater transparency to consumers about their products.

By signing, cosmetics manufacturers pledge that all cosmetics and personal care products made by the company anywhere in the world meet or exceed the formulation standards and deadlines set by the European Union cosmetics directive to be free of chemicals that are known or strongly suspected of causing cancer, mutation or birth defects.

Manufacturers also pledge to reveal all ingredients and list them publicly on the Skin Deep database to be rated for safety to consumers. You can visit the database here and read more about the Compact here
